How long does delivery take?
As a guide, delivery typically ranges from 48 to 72 hours for many contracts. We'll let you know if this is not the case.
Delivery is based on current client demand.
Can I revise my contracts?
Yes. Contracts come with 3 rounds of revisions within 14 days of delivery.
Who will prepare my contracts?
An experienced Australian business lawyer.
How will we work together?
We work online with our clients to deliver quality business legal services efficiently.
Are you an Australia-wide service?
Yes. We help clients with businesses or proposed businesses across Australia.
When should I seek a lawyer?
You should seek a lawyer when you are close to making a business decision like setting up a business or entering into an agreement.
It can be challenging to negotiate terms after you've signed an initial agreement (even if its called a non-binding heads of agreement or Memorandum of Understanding).
Also, it's wise to give your lawyer sufficient time to negotiate terms so you can get the best quality legal services.
Are my ideas safe with a lawyer?
All Australian lawyers must maintain client confidentiality.
We don't share your ideas with anyone else.
What does your fee include?
Your legal fee covers your legal work request and communication during and after delivery.
This means, there are no charges for phone calls or emails or any hidden extras.
We'll let you know if there are third party charges before they are due, for example, the land registry for a commercial lease.
Are there face-to-face meetings?
We work with you online to deliver your legal services efficiently.
Face-to-face meetings are by appointment and there may be a fee.
Do you offer litigation services?
In some cases, yes.
Our focus is preventative and pre-litigation legal services wherever possible because they add value to your business by helping you to stay out of court, reduce costs and focus on your business.
Pre-litigation assistance includes letters of demands and settlement assistance.
Are there clients you don't help?
Our firm offers business legal services to startups, small and medium sized businesses.
We do not work with larger businesses. i.e. 50+ workers.
Also, if we are at capacity, we won't take on new clients because we have a duty to deliver quality legal services.
Is your law firm a good fit for me?
If you are comfortable working flexibly online with your business lawyer, yes, we're a good fit for you.
